Support Consultant - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide support (telephonically, e-mails and in person), implementation and user training.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (this would mostly be software or user related).
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
• Serves existing accounts by analysing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
• Increase career knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Travel to clients and customers within and outside the borders of the Republic of South Africa (This will depend on your contract).
• Ensure a valid driver’s licence and valid passport is kept at all times.

Qualifications

• Matric or related NQF level qualification, with Mathematics.
• Tertiary Qualification (preferably Bsc, BCom).
• Or minimum 5 years’ work experience (Preferably in customer care or medicine related environments).
• Knowledge of Hospital Management Systems, customer care or IT would be to your advantage.
• We seek individuals within the following criteria:
  • Basic level computer hardware and software knowledge
  • MS Office proficient
  • Good communication skills. (e-mails, telephone and in person).
  • Problem solving and fault tracking capabilities.

• Experience in the following will be an advantage to your application
  • Stock control and stock take in a pharmacy environment.
  • UPFS fee structure, ICD-10 Coding, CPT Coding, NAPPI codes, South African Medical Tariff Codes.
  • Basic Medical Practice and/or Hospital environment knowledge.
